Tony’s extensive journey in New Zealand’s primary sectors began as a farm worker, evolving to farm ownership and corporate roles. Co-founder of FarmRight since 2000, he remains an active director, contributing to the business. Tony emphasises that FarmRight is notably courageous, demonstrated by nurturing inexperienced talent, and witnessing their growth within the company. This commitment to developing young leaders is evident in those currently guiding FarmRight into its next exciting stage.
Gavin’s background is deeply rooted in his Southland family farming experience. Gavin embraces a team-oriented approach at FarmRight. He discussed the adoption of Lean management. Despite various attempts to establish a stable operating structure, previous initiatives fell short. Recognising Lean’s potential, FarmRight embraced its tools and leadership model to achieve operational excellence. This strategic shift reflects a commitment to sustainability and efficiency within the organisation’s framework.
