Background and Overview
Established in August 2000, FarmRight saw the opportunity to fill a service gap in the dairy farming market. As equity partnerships, corporate ownership and large scale family holdings in dairy farming increased, the need for specialised business management became apparent. The founders of FarmRight included Tony Cleland, a Southland dairy farming entrepreneur, and five specialist South Island dairy farming consultants. The initial "Managed Farms" were equity partnerships which Tony Cleland had initiated and invested in. The consultants operated their existing portfolios under the new FarmRight banner. FarmRight is an independent dairy farming management and consultancy company offering a full range of innovative management solutions for the dairy industry. FarmRight Limited are specialists in dairy farming. Our staff have an extensive range of experience including specialised dairy consultancy, farm management, development and administration.
